Therapy Services

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an excellent behavioral therapy that helps people manage intense emotions and make wise decisions. It is helpful for anyone who is looking for specific tools to manage stress. I love DBT because the skills can be used every day at any moment to improve thoughts, feelings/emotions, sensations, and behaviors. Most importantly, DBT skills help us activate the fundamental skill of Mindfulness, which helps us both recognize the present and plan for the next moment.

Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) is a mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy unlike any other. It helps us change the tone of how we talk to ourselves by activating our innate compassionate system. Being aware of both self-criticism and compassion helps us ultimately behave in a calmer, more accepting, and more courageous way towards ourselves and the world.

DBT Middle School Family Skills Group - A place for pre-teen and teen families to learn DBT skills, manage emotions, and build connection

DBT High School Family Skills Group - Dedicated to help teens and parents manage stress at home and school with DBT skills

DBT Parenting Skills Group - A group for parents to learn DBT skills together and share ideas on how to parent effectively, especially in high-intensity situations
