I provide behavioral therapy for pre-teens, teens, families, and adults with the goal of regulating emotions, increasing both connection to self and others, and most importantly participation in life. My focus is using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) principles and skills that individuals and groups can apply in the moment at any time.

The Goal of Everyday DBT

DBT is all about acting effectively in life. The goal is to try to be effective every day and to use behavioral skills to manage almost any situation. What this does is improve resilience, confidence, and one’s internal understanding that we can handle anything that life throws at us.
